About the Event
Archer check-in 8:15 am. 3 ends official practice will start at 9:00am with official scoring to commence immediately after the end of official practice. There will be a half hour break between the medium and long distance.
Tournament Format
This round consists of 5 ends of 6 arrows shot at 3 distances starting with the longest distance.
Five (5) minutes will be allowed for each end. 10 seconds will be allowed for archers to get to the line.
Alternating AB/CD shooting positions will be used.
The target will be the 122cm NFAA multicolored target face with gold-red-blue scoring areas.
Cub distances 30-20-10 yards
Youth distances 50-40-30 yards
Young Adult, Adults and 50+ distances 60-50-40 yards
Exception: Young Adult, Adult, Senior, Silver Senior and Master Senior - Barebow Recurve, Traditional and Longbow
Distances are 50-40-30 yards
• Scoring:
o Freestyle limited recurve, Barebow compound, Barebow recurve, Longbow, Traditional: Standard 122cm 10 ring target face.
One target face per target bale. Scoring is X, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
o Compound: 122 cm 5 ring target face. Two target faces side by side per target bale. Scoring is X, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6.
o All X’s to be recorded and used as tie breakers. X=10 points.
