LFAA STATE OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP
About the Event
The LFAA State Field Championship is normally a two day event, but the hosting club may elect for a one day event. You must be a member of the LFAA to compete for awards or state records. You may shoot as a guest.
If a two day event then on Saturday all archers will shoot a 28 target field round as per NFAA/LFAA rules for a maximum potential of 560 points for the round; then on Sunday all archers will shoot a 14 target hunter round (maximum potential score of 280 points), and a 14 target animal round (maximum potential score of 294 points) as per NFAA/LFAA rules. Maximum potential score for those two days is 1134 points.
If a one day event then on Saturday all archers will shoot a 14 target field round (maximum potential score of 280 points), then a 14 target hunter round (maximum potential score of 280 points), and finally a 14 target animal round (maximum potential score of 294 points) as per NFAA/LFAA rules. Maximum potential score for that day would be 854 points.
Rules for the tournament can be found in the NFAA Constitution and Bylaws Article VI Section A, B & C and in the LFAA Constitution and Bylaws Article V Section D.
