2024 NJSFAA Distinguished Service Award Given to Gerry "Doc" DeCaro
On Dec 5, 2024, Mike Collier, President of the New Jersey State Field Association and Chris Beling, NFAA State Director, presented Gerry “Doc” DeCaro with the coveted NJSFAA Distinguished Service Award.
The NJSFAA Distinguished Service Award recognizes those very few individuals whose dedication, service, and efforts to the sport of archery go above & beyond. No one fits this description better than our friend, colleague, and mentor Gerry “Doc” DeCaro. Doc is the President and heart and soul of the Traditional Archers of New Jersey and a proud member of the Black Knight Bowbenders.
The inscription reads... “In recognition of your dedication, precision, and patience along with your unwavering guidance for archery, across all disciplines, that hits the bullseye every time. “
Thank You Doc for the hundreds of unseen hours quietly spent keeping Archery Alive and Well in New Jersey!
