2025 North American Field Archery Championships — Results and Highlights
The 2025 North American Field Archery Championships (NAFAC) concluded a compelling weekend of competition on December 13–14, 2025, at the scenic Lee County Archers range in North Fort Myers, Florida.
The event drew a diverse field of competitors from across the United States, Canada, and beyond to contest field, animal, and hunter rounds under challenging natural terrain and variable conditions. Archers across multiple age groups and shooting styles delivered performances of precision and endurance. Standout achievements were recorded across divisions, with several competitors setting new NAFAC records in their respective categories.
Highlights from the official results include:
- Andrew Fagan (AMFSU, Canada) dominated the Adult Men’s Freestyle Unlimited division, posting an exceptional combined total of 1675 points to lead the field.
- Shannon Ward (AFFSU, Brevard) delivered a compelling performance in the Adult Female Freestyle Unlimited division with a 1579 total.
- Ella Phillips (CFFSLR, Buffalo Field Archery Club) secured top honors in her class with a 1606 total.
- Ari Alvarez-Depner (JMFSU, Lee County) posted an impressive 1644 total in the Junior Men’s Freestyle Unlimited division.
- Joe Heist (VMFSU, Brevard) led the Veteran Men’s Freestyle Unlimited category with a 1617 total, showcasing veteran competitive excellence.
In addition to individual medals, numerous competitors achieved personal bests and division records, underlining the increasing depth and talent across field archery disciplines. The full results reflect robust participation across age brackets—from Cub through Senior and Veteran classes—and shooting styles, affirming NAFAC’s role as a premier competition in the North American field archery calendar.
Looking ahead, archers are encouraged to mark October 3-4 on their calendars for the 2026 NAFAC in Chino, California, hosted by Oranco Bowmen.
