Rushmore Rumble Hits the Road in 2026

The Rushmore Rumble is making history in 2026. For the first time ever, the National Field Archery Association’s high-energy indoor tournament will hit the road—landing in Indianapolis, Indiana, as part of a bold new partnership with the Archery Trade Association (ATA). Traditionally hosted at NFAA Headquarters in Yankton, South Dakota, the event will now take place January 9–11, 2026, immediately following the ATA Trade Show.

This move marks a dynamic collaboration between the NFAA and the ATA, blending competitive archery with the industry’s largest trade show to create a weeklong celebration of everything archery and bowhunting.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with ATA to create an event that brings together archers of all disciplines from across the country for a true celebration of archery,” said Bruce Cull, Executive Director of the NFAA. “This partnership allows us to grow something really special. It offers an experience that not only showcases top-level competition but also gives our tournament attendees a first look at the newest innovations in both target archery and bowhunting. It’s an exciting opportunity to unite the entire archery community under one roof.”

A Tournament with Something for Everyone

Start your indoor season with this can’t-miss event, featuring a 600 round on the new 40 cm 5-spot target on Day 1 and the traditional 40 cm 3-spot Vegas round on Day 2—providing a competitive experience that mirrors The Vegas Shoot. The weekend culminates in a 900 Shoot Off, showcasing some of the world’s top archers in a thrilling finale.

As a money shoot, the Rushmore Rumble offers cash prizes and scholarships across all divisions, with categories for youth through adult archers. No membership is required, making it the perfect opportunity for newcomers and seasoned competitors alike.

An Archery and Bowhunting Dream

For the first time, Rushmore Rumble participants will gain access to the Archery and Bowhunting Supershow, a brand-new public expo hosted by the ATA. This one-of-a-kind experience will feature a full spectrum of archery and bowhunting gear—from the latest target innovations to cutting-edge hunting equipment—all under one roof. The Supershow takes place January 9–10 alongside the tournament and is expected to attract thousands of archery enthusiasts from across the country.

A Destination Event in a Vibrant City

The Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis offers the ideal setting, with ample space for competition, practice, trade show booths, and secure equipment storage. Its central location, family-friendly attractions, and walkable downtown make it a top-tier host city for both archers and fans.

Don’t miss your chance to compete, connect, and kick off the indoor season in style.

Hotel accommodations: A dedicated hotel block with special rates at nearby downtown hotels will be available soon. Visit nfaausa.com for booking updates and registration details.
