REBATES

The NFAA is offering rebates to eligible host clubs in the amount of $15/adult and $10/junior participants. Rebate checks will be mailed to the shipping address provided on the host registration form within 2 weeks of the National Indoor League completion. Hosting clubs may also charge their own fee to the archer to further aid in covering expenses.

For a registered host to be automatically eligible for these rebates, all of the following must be true:

  • The club/shop completes the host registration form.
  • The archer declares the location as his/her host location on the registration form.
  • The shop/club has an active NFAA charter/license through the duration of the League.
  • The shop/club has an active NFAA Indoor Range Certificate for the duration of the League. If a host has an expired Indoor Range Certificate, it must be reinstated no later than the conclusion of archer registration on Feb 2, 2027, to be eligible for rebates. The Indoor Range Certificate is a separate designation from the charter/license and requires a range inspection.

Learn more about range certifications & complete the inspection form

scorecards & score submission

If you are hosting multiple archers and would like to handle the scorecard process for your participants, please email info@nfaausa.com with the names of the archers participating in the National Indoor League at your location. NFAA staff will email the scorecards directly to you for printing.

As a host, you may also submit completed scorecards directly to the NFAA via email rather than using the Scorecard Submission Form required for individual archers.

LEAGUE FORMAT/dates

Rounds can be completed at any 20-yard range around the world. Scores do NOT have to be shot at a host location.

Archers must submit 8 scores (best 4 Vegas rounds and best 4 NFAA 300 rounds) to be eligible for awards and a final ranking.

Jan 4 - feb 7, 2027 - NFAA 300 Rounds

Archers will submit a minimum of 4 NFAA 300 rounds (blue/white face), consisting of 12 ends of 5 arrows for a maximum total of 300. Xs will be used as tie-breakers. All scorecards and electronic scores for the NFAA 300 round must be submitted no later than February 10, 2027.

 feb 8 - mar 14, 2027 - Vegas Rounds

Archers will submit 4 Vegas rounds, consisting of 10 ends of 3 arrows for a maximum total of 300. Xs will be used as tie-breakers. All National League scorecards and electronic scores for the Vegas Round must be submitted no later than March 17, 2027.

electronic scoring & Scorecard submission

Electronic scoring is required for the National League.

Archers are encouraged to submit their electronic scores immediately after completing each round to view their current ranking. During a session, a lower score may be replaced with a higher score at any time by removing the arrow values from the lower electronic scorecard and entering the new values.

Standings will be updated daily throughout the League. Full results will be posted after each session has ended and all scores have been validated.

The deadlines for submitting electronic scores and scorecards are listed above in the League Format/Dates section of this page.

Not familiar with how electronic scoring works? Click to view a Quick Guide for Electronic Scoring and a Video Tutorial.

Official scorecards are emailed to the registered archer no later than the first day of the event. For archers registering after the League has started, scorecards will be emailed periodically each week. Archers will need to print multiple copies of each the NFAA 300 round (blue/white) scorecard and Vegas round scorecard to record paper scores and submit electronic scores.

Unofficial scorecards may be used in lieu of the official scorecard if the archer registers late and is waiting on their scorecard to be sent. However, all scores must be ultimately recorded on the provided official scorecards prior to scorecard submission. Completed scorecards must be submitted via an online form for validation purposes.

Note for hosting clubs and shops!!

If you are an NFAA club/shop hosting multiple National League archers and want to submit scorecards on their behalf, please email info@nfaausa.com with the names of your registered archers. NFAA staff can then email the scorecards directly to you for printing. As a host, you can also submit the completed scorecards directly to the NFAA via email instead of using the Scorecard Submission Form.

ROUND AND SCORING RULES

All rounds will follow NFAA rules as stated in the NFAA Constitution and By-Laws, Article VI, Section E

Cubs will shoot at 10 yards for the NFAA 300 rounds (blue/white face) and 20 yards for the Vegas rounds.

Archers can choose whether they shoot the 40cm single-spot or multi-spot target face for both the NFAA blue/white 300 rounds and the Vegas rounds. All archers will shoot the 40cm single-spot or multi-spot target face for both rounds, regardless of age division or shooting style.

The archer, plus at least one witness, must sign the bottom of each official scorecard to be considered valid. Scores for each submitted round must be recorded on the provided official scorecard.

Xs are counted for tie-breaker purposes. For all NFAA rounds, an arrow shaft needs only to touch the line to be counted in the area of the next higher value.

EQUIPMENT RULES

All rounds will follow NFAA shooting styles and equipment rules as stated in the NFAA Bylaws, Article II.

national league team challenge

NEW FOR 2027! The National League is more than an individual competition. Archers can also represent their host location and help their range compete to win the National League Team Challenge and a $250 cash prize!

How it Works

Archers select their host location on the event registration form. Only registered host locations are eligible to participate in the Team Challenge. Register your location online.

Each registered National League host location is eligible to have ONE team in the National League Team Challenge. Teams are not based on division, age, or shooting style, so a host location’s team may include archers from any division or shooting style.

The team is tied to the host location, NOT a team chosen by individual archers. The top five archers representing the host location will count toward its Team Challenge score. No additional team registration is necessary. Eligible archers will automatically be included in their host location’s Team Challenge based on the location they select when registering for the National League.

Registered archers who need to update their host location should email info@nfaausa.com. No updates can be made after the late registration deadline: Feb 2, 2027.

How can my home club/shop sign up to host the National Indoor League?

Yes! Any range can sign up as a host location via the Host Registration tab. Hosts are given the option to appear on our public finder, eligible for the Team Challenge competition, and may purchase optional discounted target bundles and/or the League Launch kit to help promote the league to archers in their area. Eligible hosts are also able to earn rebates for each archer who registers under their location. Read more on the Hosting Details tab.

How do I find a hosting club/shop in my area?

Visit the National League event page and navigate to the tab that provides a live list of host locations around the world. Sort by state to find the ones closest to you.

How can my club/shop earn rebates for League archers?

All NFAA clubs and shops are eligible for rebates as long as their Club Charter/Shop License AND their Indoor Range Certification is valid through the duration of the League. If a host has an expired Indoor Range Certificate, it must be reinstated no later than the late registration deadline. The club will automatically receive a rebate for each archer who designates it as their host location on the archer registration form. No form or additional work is required from the club. For more details, please visit the Hosting Details tab.

Where can I shoot rounds for the National Indoor League?

You can shoot rounds for the National Indoor League at any range around the world. Scores do NOT have be shot at a host location, and you can even submit scores from any NFAA events during the League duration.

What is the range distance?

Cubs will shoot from 20 yards for Vegas rounds and 10 yards for the NFAA 300 blue/white round. All other divisions shoot from 20 yards for both rounds.

Where can I purchase targets to shoot during the rounds?

Host locations can purchase discounted target bundles when registering. Targets can also be purchased through the online NFAA Store

What if no one else in my area wants to shoot the NFAA National Indoor League?

That is okay! There is no shooting group size requirement to participate in the National Indoor League. Only yourself plus one other witness needs to sign your scorecard to be considered valid. Get to the range, shoot some arrows, and have FUN!!

I have other questions. Who should I contact?

Please email info@nfaausa.com with additional questions.

scoring faq

How do I submit my scores and scorecards?

You can submit scorecards at any time via the Scorecard Submission Form. Once the form is completed the first time, you will be sent a confirmation email. The link provided in that email will enable you to return to the SAME form and update it throughout the League with your remaining scorecards.

Electronic scoring is required and can be completed via the Ianseo ScoreKeeper NG app. Click here to review a Quick Guide to Electronic Scoring

What if I can’t submit my scores every week?

Archers are not required to submit scores every week during the League, but their name will not appear on the daily standings if no scores are submitted. Review the deadlines for score submission on the Format & Rules tab.

What scorecard do I use when shooting my rounds?

Official scorecards will be emailed to the registered archer no later than the first day of the event. For archers registering after this time, scorecards will be emailed periodically each week. Archers will need to print both the NFAA 300-round (blue/white) scorecard and the Vegas round scorecard to record paper scores and submit electronic scores separately.

Archers may utilize any unofficial scorecard in place of the official scorecard if they have not received one before their rounds begin. However, all scores must be ultimately recorded on the provided official scorecards before scorecard submission. Completed scorecards must be submitted via the Scorecard Submission Form for validation purposes.

How do I download and use the electronic scoring app?

The app used for electronic scoring is the Ianseo Scorekeeper NG app. Please be sure your app is updated to the latest version.

Click here to download the Ianseo Scorekeeper NG app from the Apple Store

Click here to download the Ianseo Scorekeeper NG app from Google Play

Archers can input their electronic score during or following each round as long as submissions are completed before each respective session deadline. Each round on your official scorecard has a unique QR code to be scanned with the scoring app. Once scanned, the app brings up your electronic scorecard for each round. An internet connection or cellular data service is only required when scanning the QR code and at the end of each round to connect the scores to the server. Service is not required during the scoring input. No extra step is necessary to ‘upload’ the electronic score. As long as the cloud in the upper right corner of the screen is GREEN to indicate a successful connection, the score has been received.

For detailed instructions on inputting electronic scores, please review the Electronic Scoring Quick Guide and/or the YouTube tutorial video.

What if I want to replace a score I have already input in the app?

If you wish to submit a new score after the required number has already been submitted, you may replace a score by scanning the QR code on one of the previously submitted scorecards and clearing the arrow values. In this case, a new official scorecard that represents the new electronic score for that round should be uploaded to the Scorecard Submission Form. For example, if you replace Round 3 with a higher score on the e-scorecard, you should submit a new official scorecard with the new score represented in the Round 3 section. It is not necessary to fill out the arrow values for the other rounds on the new scorecard if the scorecard has already been uploaded to the Scorecard Submission Form and you are only replacing Round 3.

I want to begin shooting the League, but I haven’t received my official scorecards yet. What do I do?

Official scorecards will be emailed to the registered archer no later than the first day of the event. For archers registering after the League has started, scorecards will be emailed periodically each week. Archers will need to print both the NFAA 300-round (blue/white) scorecard and the Vegas round scorecard to record paper scores and submit electronic scores.

Archers may use any unofficial scorecard if they have not received the official scorecard before their rounds start. However, all scores must be ultimately recorded on the provided official scorecards before scorecard submission.

My score was recorded on a different scorecard. Can I submit it instead of the National League official scorecard?

If a score is recorded on an unofficial scorecard, the unofficial scorecard can be submitted through the Scorecard Submission Form to fulfill the witness signature requirement. However, the score must also be recorded on the official scorecard, as it needs to reflect the accurate arrow values and round score for verification.

Is there a way to track live results and standings?

Standings and results can be tracked via the Daily Standings link on the main event page. Note that the page will only display the archer’s ranking until all scores have been validated at the end of each session, but rankings will be updated daily throughout the League.
