The Great Chicago Open 2025
The Great Chicago Open is the fifth leg of the 2025 Indoor World Series (IWS). The tournament consists of a World Archery 60-arrow qualifying round (World Archery tri-spot 40cm target face) and elimination round with IWS elite ranking points awarded based on final placement in the Senior Compound and Senior Recurve categories. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded in each division as well as prize money and scholarships.
The IWS consists of multiple open-entry tournaments held during the winter season, allowing amateur archers to compete alongside professionals. Points are accumulated through the season, and the top archers qualify to participate in the IWS Finals in Las Vegas. The 2024-25 IWS begins in November 2024 and culminates in March 2025 after event legs in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Chinese Taipei, France, and the United States.
The Great Chicago Open will be held at Festival Hall, located in the heart of the historic Navy Pier in Chicago, IL. Read more about the venue here.
Held alongside the NFAA National Indoor Championships, competitors are given the opportunity to participate in two high-level competitions during the same weekend. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to showcase your skills and elevate your game with back-to-back premier archery tournaments!
All competitors are required to hold a USA Archery membership or membership through another national federation belonging to World Archery.
The Early Registration Deadline is February 3, 2025. A $50 late fee will apply after this date. Late registrations will be accepted onsite until February 13, 2025.
Note: For USA Archery and World Archery events, an archer may shoot up in a higher age class for one event and return to their legal age class for another event. The division selected for this event will have no bearing on the archer's division for any NFAA event.

The NFAA Indoor National Championships brings together the top NFAA archers from around the U.S. to shoot the iconic 40 cm, blue and white face. The tournament, now in its 45th year, was started in 1980 in Omaha, NE with just 500 attendees. It has called several cities home, including Kansas City, Tulsa, and Louisville.
For the first time ever, this tournament is being held back-to-back with a stage of the Indoor World Series! All attendees of the Indoor World Series are encouraged to participate and take advantage of TWO opportunities to compete at a high level during the same weekend. NFAA membership is required to compete.
