NFAA Clubs & Shops
- $20 per range type
- Valid for two years from the date of issuance.

NFAA Municipalities / State Agencies
- $50 per range type
- Valid for one year from the date of issuance.

Payment for all range certifications can be made online through the Sport:80 portal or by mailing a check to NFAA Headquarters.

Official Signage

NFAA clubs, shops, and municipalities use the online Range Inspection Form to perform self-guided inspections for the below range types. Upon completion of the Range Inspection Form, it is forwarded to the State Director for review and approval. 

  • Indoor Range (new or renewal)
  • Outdoor Target Range (new or renewal)
  • Outdoor Field Range (renewal with no changes)
  • Marked & Unmarked 3D Ranges (renewal with no changes)

Submit the online range inspection form

The State Director or his/her designated inspector will use the online Range Inspection Form to perform inspections for the below range types. If completed by someone other than the State Director, the form is forwarded to the Director for review and approval. 

  • Outdoor Field Range (new or renewal with changes)
  • Marked & Unmarked 3D Ranges (new or renewal with changes)
