Mark Your Calendars - NFAA Releases Additional Dates for 2023/2024

Yankton, SD - Mark your calendars! The National Field Archery Association (NFAA) is excited to announce the dates for four upcoming events.
The First Dakota Classic will take place August 25-26, 2023 at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center in Yankton, SD. The First Dakota Classic is an indoor distance tournament featuring the NFAA Classic 600 round. The Classic includes a qualification round shot at 40, 50 and 60 yards, followed by head-to-head elimination matches shot at 60 yards. The event is a money shoot, guaranteeing 70% payback in all Flight and Championship categories.
The NFAA Outdoor National Target Championships is scheduled for August 26-27, 2023 at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center in Yankton, SD. Held in conjunction with the First Dakota Classic, this tournament features an NFAA 900 Round on Day 1 and an NFAA Classic 600 Round on Day 2. The best part? You can participate in both the First Dakota Classic and the NFAA Outdoor Target National Championships for one fun-filled archery weekend!
The NFAA Board of Directors Meeting will be held on August 28, 2023. We encourage members to reach out to their state directors with ideas and concerns so they can be submitted for discussion as agenda items.
Finally, kicking off 2024 with another great tournament: the Rushmore Rumble, January 5-7, 2024 at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center in Yankton, SD. In just two years, this event format has become popular and well-attended, with over 700 participants in 2021. The Rushmore Rumble will feature Flight and Championship categories with payouts for all divisions, including scholarships for junior archers.
