NFAA Releases 2026 National Tournament Schedule

The NFAA has announced its 2026 National Tournament Schedule, promising a historic season of indoor, outdoor, and international events.

Rushmore Rumble

January 9–11, 2026 | Indianapolis, Indiana

The year kicks off with the Rushmore Rumble where archers will compete in a multi-round format with prize money and scholarships on the line. Archers will complete a 600 round on the original tournament 5-spot target and a Vegas-style 300 round, with divisions available for Championship, Flight, and Junior archers. Adding to the excitement, attendees can explore the inaugural Archery & Bowhunting Supershow on January 9–10, a ticketed event that showcases top brands, full product lines, and direct connections with leading manufacturers.

NFAA Indoor National Championships

March 6–8, 2026 | Memphis, Tennessee

The competitive indoor season continues with the NFAA Indoor National Championships, marking the first time the event will be hosted in Memphis. Archers will complete two NFAA Indoor 300 Rounds on the iconic blue and white 5-spot target face, a tradition that sets this event apart in the indoor season. National titles will be awarded across all divisions, with winners receiving the prestigious silver bowl. Registration to open October 15.


The Vegas Shoot

March 26–29, 2026 | Las Vegas, Nevada

Later in March, the archery world turns its attention to The Vegas Shoot, the largest and most prestigious indoor tournament in the world. Known as the “Super Bowl of Archery,” this iconic event draws thousands of competitors of all skill levels to compete for more than $500,000 in guaranteed prize money and scholarships in the Junior and Collegiate divisions. Juniors will complete two Vegas Rounds, while Adults will shoot three Vegas Rounds across the weekend. The excitement builds with the infamous $10K a Day Shoot-Offs, the Lucky Dog Shoot-Off, and the dramatic Championship Shoot-Offs at PH Live Theater, helping to cement The Vegas Shoot as the must-attend highlight of the competitive season. Registration opens October 15.

New in 2026, The Vegas Shoot is debuting Grow the Line, a mentorship program where experienced archers provide guidance, encouragement, and support for "rookie" participants. Attendees can also enjoy the Next Gen Archers junior event and the sport’s largest archery trade show.

NFAA 1-arrow 3D National Championships & break the barriers

April 18-19, 2026 | Friant, California

In the Spring, the action moves outdoors with the NFAA 1-Arrow 3D National Championships. The NFAA is excited to continue its partnership for the event with Break the Barriers, a non-profit organization with over 25 inclusive programs for all abilities. Archers will face 85 marked-distance 3D targets featuring the distinctive 12-ring orange dot. National champions will be crowned in individual divisions, and NFAA National Team Divisions will be offered to archers of all age divisions and shooting styles, giving everyone the unique opportunity to compete as part of a team and win a national team award. Registration to open in December 2025.


NFAA Marked 3D National Championships & Western classic trail shoot

May 1–3, 2026 | Redding, California

The outdoor season continues with the NFAA Marked 3D Nationals and Western Classic Trail Shoot. Widely considered one of the toughest and most prestigious 3D archery events, the tournament features 70 3D animal targets with orange dots shot at known distances ranging from 4 to 101 yards, including the iconic Big Foot Target. Signature national championship belt buckles are awarded to all division champions, and prize money is up for grabs in the professional divisions. Registration to open in January 2026.


NFAA field National Championships & IFAA World Field Championships

July 24–31, 2026 | Yankton, South Dakota

The summer season peaks in Yankton with back-to-back tournaments that together create eight straight days of world-class field archery. The NFAA Outdoor Field National Championships, July 24–26, will see archers tackle the Field, Hunter, and Animal Rounds over three days. Winners will receive the prestigious silver bowls, and cash payouts will be awarded in the professional divisions. Registration to open in early 2026. 

Immediately after, the IFAA World Field Championships, July 27–31, extends the challenge with five rounds across 28 targets each: two Field, two Hunter, and one Animal Round. All NFAA members are invited to participate! Registration is OPEN now.

First Dakota Classic

August 21–22, 2026 | Yankton, South Dakota

Held immediately before the NFAA Outdoor Target Nationals, the First Dakota Classic is the first event in the 2026 National Roundup. Archers open with the NFAA Classic 600 qualification round and progress to exciting head-to-head elimination matches to decide division champions. The event offers 70% payback in all Championship and Flight categories, and scholarships for Junior and Collegiate winners. It also serves as the final stop in the prestigious 3-Star Tour, giving archers who competed at The Vegas Shoot, NFAA Indoor Nationals, and the First Dakota Classic the chance to to compete for thousands in prize money during the 3-Star Shoot-Off. Registration to open in the Spring of 2026.


NFAA Outdoor target national championships

August 22-23, 2026 | Yankton, South Dakota

Closing out the summer, the NFAA Outdoor Target Nationals marks the second event in the 2026 National Roundup. Archers will open the competition with the Classic 600 Round on Day 1, followed by the 900 Round on Day 2, challenging competitors’ precision and endurance. National titles will be awarded across all divisions, with champions taking home the prestigious silver bowl. With two world-class events taking place over the same weekend, archers have the unique opportunity to compete at multiple championship-level tournaments in the same location. Registration to open in the Spring of 2026.
