The National Indoor League Gets a Major Upgrade for 2027

Originally launched in 2021, the NFAA National Indoor League was created to give archers the opportunity to compete nationally while shooting at their local range. Since its inaugural season, the NFAA has continued to evaluate and evolve the program based on participation and feedback, creating a more accessible and engaging experience for archers while providing greater opportunities for the clubs and shops that support them.

A League You Can Shoot From Anywhere

One of the cornerstones of the National League is that archers are not limited to shooting at a designated host location. Archers can submit eligible scores shot anywhere in the world. Scores do not have to be shot at an official League host range. Even scores shot at NFAA events during the League period can be submitted, giving archers more flexibility to participate wherever they are shooting.

Whether an archer is shooting at their local club, traveling to another range, competing at an NFAA event, or shooting in another location anywhere around the world, they can take part in the National Indoor League.

format & dates

The 2027 League will be divided into two five-week sessions:

NFAA 300 Rounds | January 4 – February 7, 2027
Vegas Rounds | February 8 – March 14, 2027

Archers will submit their best four scores from each five-week session, allowing them to improve their standings throughout the session without requiring them to shoot every week.

League standings will now be updated daily, giving archers the opportunity to track their progress and see where they stand throughout the competition.

More Accessible for Archers

For 2027, the NFAA has significantly lowered the League registration fees and removed the requirement to hold a valid NFAA membership. These changes are designed to encourage greater participation and make it easier for archers to get involved. The goal is simple: remove barriers and give more archers the opportunity to experience national competition.

Archer registration will open in September 2026.

New Opportunities for Host Ranges

The 2027 League builds on the benefits already available to host locations while introducing several new opportunities and resources for clubs and shops.

New for 2027

National League Team Challenge
Each registered host location will have the opportunity to compete for a $250 cash prize. The top five archers representing each location will contribute to its team score.

Free Host Finder Listing
Host registration is FREE, and registered locations will appear on the public Host Finder so archers can easily find participating ranges.

Discounted Target Bundles
Hosts can purchase specially priced target bundles to help make running the League at their range more convenient and affordable.

Promotional Support
Hosts can purchase League Launch Kits featuring branded promotional materials designed to help spread the word, promote participation, and build excitement for the League at their range.

Continued Host Benefits

Earn Cash Rebates
Eligible hosts with an NFAA certified range can still earn automatic rebates for archers who select their location as their host range, including $15 per Adult, Senior, or Professional archer and $10 per Junior archer.

Simplified Scorecard Process
Hosts with multiple participating archers can request to have scorecards sent directly to their range for printing and distribution. Hosts can also take advantage of a more streamlined process by submitting completed scorecards directly to the NFAA for validation.

The National Indoor League is designed to connect the local and national levels of archery.
