The beginners' guide to NFAA Indoor Nationals 2019

The 39th edition of the NFAA Indoor Nationals takes place at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 15-17, 2019.

All current NFAA and USA Archery members are welcome to shoot the 120 arrows over two full and exciting days of competition.

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW

Around 1900 competitors will shoot the iconic NFAA Indoor blue and white target face in Cincinatti.

Archers choose between a standard single-spot target face, measuring 40 centimeters in diameter, or its five-spot variation.

The white five-ring measures eight centimeters across with a four-centimeter diameter X-ring in the very middle.

The single spot has blue rings scoring four, three, two and one points; each of the five spots has two thinner blue rings scoring four points.

There's one day scheduled for practice, followed by two days of competition, 60 arrows per archer per session.

Over 80 divisions are available for cubs, youths, young adults, adults, seniors, silver seniors and master seniors to compete in.

In the following divisions, the prizes for the first three places are guaranteed. Subsequent place prizes will be based on attendance.
