Article IX
A. These awards may be won in the NFAA Field, Hunter or International Round, or portions thereof, with a distinctive pin and set of bars for each round.
B. An archer shall become eligible for these awards upon shooting a twenty score on any field or hunter target or upon shooting a fifteen on any International target on any officially approved NFAA course using official NFAA targets while competing in any of the following tournaments:
1. The National Field Archery Association Annual Tournament.
2. Any National Field Archery Association Mail Tournament.
3. Any Chartered Club or Association Tournament.
C. Only clubs and associations chartered with NFAA shall be permitted to register tournaments as 20/15 Pin Tournaments.
D. Only adult, young adult and youth members of the NFAA are eligible and the archer must have his scorecard signed by two witnesses. Application for the 20/15 bar shall be submitted within thirty days, by the archer eligible for the award, accompanied by a fee, sent to the state association secretary or awards chairman. The same procedure is followed for the 20/15 pin award, accompanied by the appropriate fee.
E. Adult, young adult and youth members of NFAA may earn yardage bars to attach to the 20 Pin Award for scoring 20 on the 20, 35, 50 and 65 centimeter targets and under the rules set up for the 20 Pin Award. The bars shall have the distance shot marked on the bar.
F. Adult, young adult and youth members of NFAA may earn yardage bars to attach to the 15 Pin Award for scoring a 15 on the 35, 50 and 65 centimeter targets and under the rules set up for the 20 Pin Award. The bars shall have the distance shot marked on the bar.
G. Upon receiving the pin and entire series of bars in any one style of shooting, the NFAA Perfect Pin shall be awarded an archer upon application and verification of achievements through the state association secretary. Perfect pins are available for the Field, Hunter and International Rounds. No fee is involved in this award.
H. Adult and young adult members of NFAA may earn an Animal Perfect Pin by shooting a score of 20 or higher on all 14 targets of a 14 target unit for a total score of 280 or higher on a 14-target unit at a registered tournament.
